Having IMPACTT 2023: The Rosell® Institute for Microbiome and Probiotics Renews Its Platinum Sponsorship

The Rosell® Institute for Microbiome and Probiotics by Lallemand reconducts its platinum sponsorship of the Canadian microbiome symposium, Having IMPACTT, for a third year in a row.

Having IMPACTT 3: Advancing Microbiome Research will take place from July 10 to 12, at the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore, Canada. Scientists from across Canada and around the world will gather to highlight what’s new in microbiome research. The organizers, the Integrated Microbiome Platforms for Advancing Causation Testing and Translation (IMPACTT) and the International Microbiome Centre (IMC), both based at the University of Calgary, have built a program that will be of interest to researchers, clinicians, and trainees.

Reuniting over 15 renowned speakers, the themes that will be covered in this symposium include: Microbiome Beyond Bacteria; Microbiome Beyond the Gut; Microbiome Across Life Stages; Microbiome & Nutrition; Omics & Bioinformatics.

“The importance of human microbiome research is rapidly gaining momentum for understanding its role in human health and disease. Our goal for this symposium is to bring together the leading minds in microbiome research and highlight the emerging microbiome teams from across Canada,” explains Kathy McCoy, PhD, IMPACTT Director and Professor in the Dept. of Physiology and Pharmacology, as well Scientific Director of the IMC at the University of Calgary.

“This event is totally aligned with our own commitment towards microbiome research and development, the promotion of innovative science and the exchange of ideas. We are happy to have the opportunity to sponsor this event and encourage a great Canadian initiative in this area,” adds Stéphane Bronner, Research Director at the Rosell® Institute.

This third edition is sold out, sign of the success of previous editions.
